Educating America

This videotape from the College Board helps low- and middle-income families plan for the cost of their children's college education. How to Apply for and Obtain Financial Aid (Capital Concepts) Randy Braidfoot, a certified financial planner, has published a 25-minute videotape that guides students and their families through the financial aid process. It discusses how to fill out the FAFSA correctly, highlighting common mistakes to avoid. It also explains the financial aid process and gives some tips to reducing college costs. The videotape is available for purchase by high school guidance counselors, financial aid administrators and individual students and parents. Guidance counselors are encouraged to purchase a copy of the tape to lend out to their students. The cost is $19.95 plus $5 shipping and handling.
